In a FB session with Navbharat Times, singer Anup Jalota spoke about actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death and drug racket coming to light in the film industry. He termed SSR's death as 'Balidan'

Anup Jalota Calls Actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death As 'Balidan' Which Was To Make India A Drug Free Nation
Renowned singer Anup Jalota feels actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death is one big sacrifice made for the country to make it a drug-free nation. SSR's untimely death on June 14, 2020, followed by the ongoing investigation which was initially supposed to find out whether the actor died due to suicide or it was murder, has completely taken a different route with the drug racket being busted and many big names from the Bollywood coming to light. In conversation with Navbharat Times, during a Facebook live session, the singer spilt the beans about it.

The singer mentioned during this conversation that few things happen to just correct things in the future, linking it to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. The singer feels the actor’s death is a sacrifice for the country which will soon put an end to the drug racket in India. He also feels after SSR’s death, the Government of India has set out on a path to find out the drug peddlers and track them out. He further added this is for the first-ever time, strict steps are taken against the ones associated with drugs.

He said, “I think that sometimes, things happen to fix certain things ahead in future. Like I think Sushant Singh Rajput has been sacrificed to eliminate drugs from Hindustan (India). Today after Sushant's life, the government of our country has gone behind the drug mafia and find out where drugs are, catch them. Grab those who sell drugs.”

Also mentioning further this investigation should have happened earlier as people were aware there were cases of drugs relating to the film industry. He also mentions after SSR’s death, this investigation in drug cases has gained pace and feels like this poison which has been weakening the youth of our country, will soon be over. In the recent development Narcotics Control Bureau which got hold of many stars and people having connections with drug peddlers, now it has summoned producer Madhu Mantena for interrogation.
